Hello.
Is it possible to bypass the device which disables the recording from a vhs
to another vhs? If my wife got a nice movie and I don't have the time to
watch it, I would like to record it in order to watch the film in another
time. It is not to make profits out of it.

Yes it is possible to bypass the device which interferes with
recording from one VCR to another VCR,
but it is illegal to copy those hired tapes regardless.
If its worth copying, its worth re-hiring again.
