verilog XL manuals

Does anyone know where Verilog XL manuals are with syntax guide for
Verilog 2001 standard?

I saw some chap in work with them and I have googled a good bit for
them, and trawled through Cadence websute, problem is I don't know if
it's Cadence or Synopsis that make it - the products section in Cadence
site just has NC-Verilog. Synopsis just have VCS, is VXL and standard
or a tool.

I just want a definitive reference about verilog system tasks, and usage
of reg's wires, generate statements etc.

Verilog XL and NC-Verilog are Cadence's products. VCS is from
Synopsys. Verilog XL, NC Verilog and VCS are tools. The standard
for Verilog language is called IEEE Std. 1364-2001 (or
Verilog-2001) which is the most definitive reference about
Verilog language and can be purchased from IEEE website:

Regarding Verilog-2001 support in Verilog-XL, take a look at:
