Yes, it's in the INCISIV92 (or IUS82) stream, since that's where the AMS
Designer simulator comes from.

However, there's also documentation in the IC5141 stream. Very surprised you
couldn't find it. If you run "cdsdoc" from IC5141, the very first two categories
are:

AMS Designer
AMS Environment

Or if cdsdoc is problematic on your system, you could pick up cdnshelp from
another stream (e.g. INCISIV, MMSIM) and do:

cdnshelp -hierarchy /path/to/IC5141/doc

And there will be AMS Designer and AMS Environment at the beginning again.

Or if even this is too much of a challenge, cd <IC5141instDir>/doc and do:

UNIX PROMPT> ls *ams*/*.pdf

and it will list:

amsenvug/amsenvug.pdf
amsenvugKPNS/amsenvugKPNS.pdf
amsenvugwn/amsenvugwn.pdf
amssimug/amssimug.pdf
amssimugKPNS/amssimugKPNS.pdf
amssimugwn/amssimugwn.pdf
verilogamsref/verilogamsref.pdf

Did you even try looking at the documentation? It really was not at all
difficult to find...

Regards,

Andrew.

Hi,

I would like to add one more doc on top of Andrew's list.
The AMS Virtuoso use model (AVUM) workshop doc which is available from
your IC5141 stream at the following location:
$CDSHOME/tools/dfII/samples/tutorials/AMS.
This AVUM workshop is really great for beginners to AMS Designer. The
good thing about this workshop is that you have a database to exercise
with using the step-by-step instructions in the manual. You can't go
wrong with this one.

I would advise going through chapters 1 and 2. It should not take more
than couple of hours to get them done.

This workshop's based on AMS Designer form ADE, using the 1-step OSS-
based irun flow.

Regards,
Riad.

Emmm, I think I moved to quick on this post ...
Your question was actually about Verilog-AMS not the AMS Designer env,
apologies for that.

The verilog-AMS doc is verilogamsref/verilogamsref.pdf as advised by
Andrew above.
for Verilog-AMS, I would also advise looking at:
http://www.designers-guide.org/VerilogAMS/
http://www.designers-guide.org/Books/dg-vams/index.html

Cheers,
Riad.
