Can someone please tell me about the features of Verilog 2001 that are
supported by the common tools available. The websites are anything
between inadequate to blatantly misinformative. There are posts and
documents about these but they are for older versions.

The features i am looking at -
Multi-dimensional arrays
Generate blocks
Array of Instances
Indexed vector select
Power operator

The tools i am looking at -
Simulation tools -
Modelsim SE, PE
NC Verilog

XST
DCST
Synplify Pro, ASIC
LeonardoSpectrum

For simulation tools check out Cliff Cummings' Verilog-2001 scoreboard
doc at http://www.sunburst-design.com/papers/.

It should be noted that this paper was written early in 2003, and is
a couple of years out of date by now. Tool vendors have not been
sitting still during that time.

NC-Verilog supports all of the features you list. I suspect that the
other
simulators you list support them also.
