The answer might sound trivial..., but can anyone kindly show me how
to check if my current version of Spectre supports PSP 102e model
card? If it does, what is the name and number of level in use?

Thanks,

Hi Wei,

"spectre -help psp102e" will answer that question. My MMSIM70 installation does
support it.

Hi Wei,

Attempting to answer the second question ...
The 'level' parameter is ignored and your model selection is based on
the name of the model itself.
In your case, you are using the PSP Local level 102.

Well, the true answer comes from the PSP doc you could download from:
http://pspmodel.asu.edu/psp_documentation.htm

Here is a snippet from PSP 102.1, Chapter 6.1 Model selection:

---
Circuit simulators have different ways for the user to determine which
model must be used for simulation. Typically, model selection is
either done by name or by assigning a value to the parameter LEVEL.
The method to be used is prescribed by the circuit simulator vendor.
If selection is done by name, the value of the parameter LEVEL is
generally ignored. When Verilog-A code is used, model selection is
always done by name. For the SiMKit and the Verilog-A code provided by
the PSP model developers, the method and values to be used are given
in the table below :
Simulator = Spectre
Model selection by = name
Global (geom.) = psp1020
Global (binning) = psp1021
Local = psp102e
---

Hope this helps !
Regards,
Riad.
