USB radio controlled switch.

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right BG for this, but here goes.

I have some radio controlled mains electricity switches. Very useful
things around the house.
But, I would really like a similar thing where the switch can be
controlled through my laptop, or PC, possibly through a USB appendage.

Does such a thing exist?

Yeah, there's a bunch of stuff for that sortof job - search "home

That sounds like the X10 gear - www.x10.com

I use a handheld x10 remote to switch the laser printer (in the
basement on/off when I need to use it from a laptop with a wireless
network card.
