Hi,
I got a note in Synplfy Pro 8.4 for which I cudnt get an explanation
from the tool. The note is, "Found add mux in view:work <filename> inst
Accumulator_Q[29:0]".
What does this mean?

Thanks & Regards
Srini.

It means it found an add mux?

The notes tend to mention when an implementation matches one of their
predefined templates allowing the tool to better package the
functionality either in the intermediate file that goes to the mapper or
in the mapper itself. I would assume a mux adder is something like
Y=A+(S?B:C);

I've found the notes next to worthless and am happy that SynplifyPro has
the ability to filter selective messages. At a minimum, the grouping of
the warnings and errors is pleasant to help ignore the messages that
provide no use to the user.
