Hello. I have had much trouble finding a 'selection' dial type switch
which would be used to navigate a menu on a device. One can turn it
either direction and also press it to activate a button. You can find
these knobs on monitors or DVD players. Where can I find these? Thank
you much

Hi!

Sounds like an "encoder" with a push selection switch.

http://www.bourns.com/2/comp_13.html

is one company that makes them.

Yours, Mark.

There's one in the DigiKey catalog that has the pushbutton function,
even. You could get the manufacturer from that, then see if your local
people have it.
