Yeah... I think it *is* too late. We\'ll be lucky to achieve any of our goals at any time with so many people in complete denial.

I find it funny that people use key phrases, to indicate their opinion on subjects without actually saying anything. It\'s a test to see if you know the secret handshake, so they don\'t have to reveal themselves as believers/non-believers. What fucking morons! Too bad the Romans aren\'t around to crucify a few of them.

We\'ve been a few years away from extinction for at least 50 years now.

It\'s a beautiful balmy day outside. Get used to it.

A good policy is to ban all UN physical meetings, and save on jet fuels. Why do they need to discuss in person when they can just video chat? All important issues are blocked by 1 of the 5 anyway.

And Larkin again reverts to being dumber than a pile of dogshit.

We have been one nuclear exchange away from near extinction, but
extinction is not what global warming will cause. It will cause things
like coastal cities to become immersed.

Damn, you need to grow up, child.

Who is \'we\'?
What happened 50 years ago, that relates to (human?) extinction?

This sounds too important to dismiss with a single sentence.

I find it funny how some people use subject lines that are almost
incomprehensible to popular newsreaders like Xnews...

A good policy is to ban all UN physical meetings, and save on jet fuels. Why do they need to discuss in person when they can just video chat? All important issues are blocked by 1 of the 5 anyway.

Getting rid of the UN and all it\'s subordinate bodies is the only
guaranteed way to satisfactorily deal with this non-issue.

Oh, Putin has lots of tricks to deal with folk making factual reports; he
suggests you should firmly insist that a \'special climate operation\' is under way,
and that anything up to 15 years imprisonment is reasonable if the czar detects
fake news...

John Larkin hasn\'t been paying attention. Nobody has promised climate change extinction in the next few years at any time in the past fifty years.

Anthony Watts may have done enough text-chopping to make it look as if some journalist thought that they had, but that\'s climate change denial propaganda for you. It is aimed at gullible twits like John Larkin, so it doesn\'t have to be all that plausible.

It may be a beautiful balmy day outside your door. Sydney has just had a normal year\'s worth of rainfall in the first three months of the calender year (normally our hot dry summer), and the Australian Great Barrier Reef is bleaching during a La Nina year. Appreciate your good weather while it lasts - it may not last all that long.

Who needs the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change anyway? Russia Today will tell us all that Putin thinks we need to know.

Cursitor Doom is addicted to his fantasy world, and resents any distractions introduced by real world problems. He may get an unpleasant surprise when real world problems with agricultural production make food expensive and reserved for people who are doing something towards solving those problems.

As well as the physical resources used to hold those meetings (and the
land conveyances required to get folks to/fro)

Agreed. But, then again, why the need for *any* \"in person\" meetings?
Or even video conferences -- with the exception of theatrics?

I suspect the \"representatives\" want an excuse to get out of their
respective countries and live in a bit more \"upscale\" environs,
especially when it\'s not their dime! \"Perc\"
