Ultrasim Waveforms while simulating

Hi All

I am having trouble viewing Ultrasim results while the simulation is
running. I get messages of this form:

*Warning* Wave10 is not a waveform object that can be displayed and will
be turned OFF automatically.

The waveform that doesn't display is random. Adding a 'dumpstep'
parameter doesn't help. It appears that the result file is in an
inconsistent state.

I use UltraSim version 6.1.0.151 32bit 06/01/2006 and psf file format.
I tried using SST2 format but it appears that this version does not
generate valid SST2 files.

Any ideas?

Ultrasim only outputs the data in fairly big chunks, if my memory serves me
correctly (like every 10% of the simulation, or something similar).

SST2 should be OK too. You should report this to Cadence if you're still
having a problem.

Regards,

Andrew.
