tweezer or other equipment to flip specimen

Dear all,

can anyone name a supplier of a tweezer or other means of hand-held
equipment with which I can rotate the held specimen exactly 180°
(flip) around a horizontal axis (e.g. by a mini ratchet moving a
cogwheel) ?

Thanks

When you say exactly 180 degrees, do you really mean exactly? How big is
the specimin? What is it? How does it need to be held? Is this for
microscopy? I know there are special rotatory platforms that are
designed to sit under a dissecting microscope. There are also platforms
that are designed for electronics engineers that rotate too.

... but having said that, I cant remember who makes them!

This sounds like two stock components:
1) a flexible rotary drive to a chuck.
2) a flexible three claw grasper with a push button.

Mount 2) on 1)
Fix a handwheel on the far end of 1)
Mount stops to make a 180 deg rotation.

For what it's worth...

please elaborate on what you mean then--

to me, "flip" and "spin" are the same thing, it's just a question of what
the axis of rotation is....

Don´t wanna spin it, wanna flip it ...

But a 180 deg flip is a 180 deg spin at right angles, isn't it?

Applied Materials? If you've got a couple of hundred $K.
