I have an older Fisher "Studio-Standard" TV set (digital) which will not
show green color. Grass etc appears as a dirty brown.
What needs to be replaced and is it worth repairing?

Thanks!

This can be that the green colour amp section is not working, there is a
fault in demodulation, or very common in older sets, the CRT is weak in the
green electron-gun section. You would have to have it properly checked to
determine where the fault is. This is something you cannot do properly at
home, unless you have the proper training, service information, and the test
equipment to do the evaluation.

I fixed one of these with the same problem that just had some bad soldering
on the neck board, could be a bad drive transistor though or the CRT socket,
it's worth checking out though.

One color missing is one of the easier repairs to troubleshoot without a
schematic. Simply check the waveforms and voltages from the three cathodes on
the CRT back to the main IC. Use the two working colors for reference.
