Ive just had a Goodmans 28-inch tv
(http://www.oxendales.com/productdetails.jsp?kick=-2049018271&sid=64663141&bo_uid=7001&prodid=EL139)
for about a month and already..its having problems!

The screen would occasionally shrink to a singular vertical line after
being powered up, then after shutting it down, the screen has become
concave, and stretched, but without any black borders on the sides.

Whats gone wrong????

It has a fault that needs repaired under warranty.

This may be a failure in the vertical deflection area, that is coming.
Normaly, if this is a new set, there should be a warranty on it.

The fault should be properly diagnosed to make a determination of the
exact parts that have failed, and must be changed.

I whole-heartedly agree.

Yes it has a warranty, but i think next time im sticking to the "real" brands.

Not some cheapo-plasticky knockoff.
