TV in the Car

I have a little 5.6 inch TV in the car and I want to try using the radio
antenna as an external antenna for it.
I also have a UHF VHF FM Amp which runs off 12 volts which has two output
one input.

What I want to do is plut the radio antenna into the amp input, then run one
cable to the TV and the other to the radio.
Does anyone know if this is ok to do for Car Radios?? ie put a boosted
signal into it.
Or what I be better off just using a T of some sort and only amplify the
feed to the tv, not to the radio.
The car is a VY Commodore... standard radio/sound system installed.

Thanks

The car antenna is totally unsuited for use as a TV antenna. I mean, it
*may* work, after a fashion, but a stick may too. In the event that you
really, really want to do this, try it with a T and just amplify the bit
going to the TV, as the radio is more likely to overload. You won't damage
it, but you'll suffer breakthrough by strong stations all over the band(s).
