Having trouble even identifying what a 74105 is. Logic families have obviously
moved on since this one was around, and trusty Google can't find any useful
info.

Can anyone tell me what it was, and possibly point me at a data sheet?

TIA

It's a gated jk ff with preset and clear.

http://www.telec.nl/cat/TTL%20800-821.pdf (page 4)
http://www.bme.ie/bae/pdflib/d74ttl.pdf (page 4 again)

This page is in French, but it gives the pinout and logic diagram
of the 74105:

It's a JK flip-flop, by the way.
