Trouble with LCD on Nokia 8850

I have replaced the LCD in my Nokia 8850 phone twice now and each time it
seems to last only a couple of hours the screen included replacing the
contact.
I have tried cleaning the contact on the phone with isopropyl alcohol but
that doesn't seem to help, does anyone know what I can use to make the
contact better? or what I can do to rectify the situation.

If you are talking about the soft rubber carbon contacts between
the LCD panel and the PC board isopropyl will kill them use a
bit of plain white paper and wipe the contacts across them about
1 or 2 inches.
