Can anyone confirm that when Im looking at the diagram of a transistor eg

Page 3, Diagram one, That Im looking straight at the flat spot of the
Transistor. Not the Rounded part.

Yes. You see two lines, vertically, inside the body part of the
transistor, along the vertical sides of the body.
These lines are there to show you that it is the front side of the
transistor you are looking at.

These lines show the edges between the rounded and the flat surfaces.

Yes. You see two lines, vertically, inside the body part of the
transistor, along the vertical sides of the body.
These lines are there to show you that it is the front side of the
transistor you are looking at.

Yes.

A: you can see its edges in the front view, and
B: the one below is the bottom view, as if you're holding it with both
index fingers and both thumbs, and just swing the legs up toward you.
