Would anyone have any data or equivalent type for a TT4121 made by
ITT.Most probably PNP,Germanium, but all the usual sources come up
zilch.
TIA,Brian Goldsmith.

If you have a good one, then you can run a transistor curve tracer on
it to identify it's characteristics enough to find a suitable
replacement.

Perhaps someone here (closer to you) has one of these sitting on a
shelf that they could help you with - I have a curve tracer but I'm in
Canada. (other side of the pond - the long way!)

**** The colloquial term "squeezebox" springs to mind but the term has
other connotations!!! :)

Sorry Phil, the TT4121 is for an AWA G250-2 10-610 kHz Test
Oscillator, there are a few and appear to have been fitted as
original.Anyone got a copy of circuit or even a manual? All costs
gratefully prepaid.

Hi Brain,

This might be the same as a PN4121. It is used extensively in AWA test gear
of about that vintage.

X7390 PN4121 PNP 40V 0.1A TO-92 SILICON G/PURPOSE 208 $0.22

http://www.tecs.com.au/products/Product_Typelisting.asp?sdiss=752

Worth a try. It will cost all of 22c to find out if it isn't suitable.

Cheers,
Alan

*** It certainly is Alan!! Some one had replaced the 4121 with a
germanium AF series,no wonder the output was down.
Many thanks,Brian Goldsmith.
