I'm looking for some bobbins as for E-I type transformers (rectangular
core), in a specific size. Anybody know where I can get these in small
quantities?

Interesting "flat pack" system they have though!

On the subject of C-cores, I see they're no longer in their listed items. Is
there a reason why they aren't used any more? From a manufacturing
perspective they look to be a great idea, are the resultant transformer
properties not up to scratch maybe?

We used to use their C-cores too, ones about 250mm long. We
made specialised electromagnets out of them. Sometime around
1999 they stopped supplying, I think they were not selling
much or they had supply problems with GISS. We started making
our own lams after that to avoid such unreliable suppliers.
