Trailer wiring problems

Based on my OHM meter I have a good ground on both the trailer and my
truck.

When I turn my truck lights on all lights on the trailer work fine
until I press the brakes...then my lights on the trailer go out. If my
truck lights are not on, all lights work fine...even when I press the
brake. Any ideas?

Sounds like an electrical problem, not an electronic one.

Don't use an ohmmeter. Energize the system
and measure VOLTS between the grounds of the truck and trailer.
I'm betting it's not zero.

You need to re-check the wiring.
You obviously don't have what you think you have.
