I have a Toshiba SD-2710. I have read all the past posts about the
quality of the machine, but this problem is my 2 1/2 year olds fault.
Seems he liked hanging on or pulling down on the tray when it was open.
Amazingly enough, the tray eject/retract doesn't work anymore.
(It's a good thing he's so cute...)
It looks like I could replace the drive as a unit pretty easily if I
could get my hands on one. Does anyone have a dead one in their shop
that had a good drive but a bad something else that I could get a
working drive off of?
