I must admit I should know the answer to this question.... I have a
Miniture Toggle Switch with the following rating: 5A 120V AC, 28V DC,
2A 250V AC Is the switch rated for 5A @ 28V DC? What is that rating
for a 12V DC application? Do you use OHMS Law?

Thanks,

Yes.

5A

Do you use OHMS Law?
No.

The voltage rating is the maximum voltage that the switch contacts can
safely break. It is harder to switch off a DC circuit, so the DC
rating is lower than the AC.

The current rating is the maximum current that the contacts can safely
handle without overheating.

There is some relationship between switch-off-ability, voltage and
current that requires the lower current rating for 250 VAC.
