Tiny basic switch needed

I have a HP camera that took an unplanned trip down a flight of stairs that
now needs repaired. The only part I'm not able to repair or replace is this
tiny ass snap action (basic) switch that closes when the shutter is closed.
This thing measures 6mm tall, 5 mm long, and 1mm wide. it can be of either
the pushbutton or lever action type.

What company would make something this small? I've poured over about 10
catalogs of distributors and/or producers and I've found nothing close.

Any ideas?

You could try http://www.digikey.com . I had a quick look and found some
Ultra-Miniature pushbutton switches in this page of their online catalogue:

Well, A good closeup Photo would be worth a thousand words, but since this
is your Camera, I guess its gonna be hard to take a Picture. If you can
borrow a Camera, and Take a Picture, try posting it to my Parts Board Here:

The Only way I could have a Chance of finding it would be a Picture.

I'll try to get a good picture, but my only other functioning camera is a 1
megapixel, six year old beast. I'll try, but it's probably going to end up
looking like a Picasso.

This part is HP only. I have been through this before, with other products,
and I know what you are getting at. They may not sell the switch to you, and
ask you to send in the camera. It does not hurt to call them, and see if
they will sell you the part.
