the following story

is not linked up from the main index and the homepage has frames (at the
moment) that stop the robots from going any further, I admit the
procrastination time is a bit beyond the joke, I had big plans for
http://www.oh-bugger.net.nz/ I should of realized the trade is so "
" sorry I said too much about them.

Well, for one thing that's really hard to read because of the colors. For
another, I don't see why the measurements should be recorded. In what way is
that any better for the tester if there's a fault later? If you're saying
that a later fault could be used to say that the previous test was not done
correctly, then recording the measurements wouldn't change this. You either
trust the tester and the test, or you don't.

Regarding the implied paranoia in your page, get a life.

His point was: by recording how much the resistance is you can get an
indication if it is changing.
take the following scenarios
test 1 - just inside legal limits, test 2 - just inside legal limits -
indicates the product is legal, and not changing.
test 1 - way inside limits, test 2 - just inside legal limits - indicates
that the product is failing, so there is a high chance that within a short
time period it will be outside the legal limits, and that possibly someone
could get hurt.
Without recording resistances there is no way of telling which of the above
scenarios applies.

Yes, but you'll only get to see a measurement when it's brought in for a
fault anyway, so you learn nothing unless you check it regularly and
unnecessarily. It's a waste of time, unless you don't trust testers, in
which case why are you requiring them to waste time writing things you won't
believe?

public want to see and hear. And I think Joe Public doesn't give a shit
about phase to phase and phase to earth mesurements. Joe (Minority) Public
just wants to see a stckier

All you conspiricy theorys can be put down to that as well.
