Thermal affects on Threshold Voltage

I see a lot of equations for threshold voltage (Vt) of a MOS device
which show Vt 's dependance on temperature(T). But, could someone pls
explain the exact behaviour and reason as to how Vt varies with
temperature (in words) and why? Any comments would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.
 
There is a pretty big theory behind this. Probably you may start by reading
some book on semiconductors. As far as I remember Sze has a very good books.
