Hey, look at The Onion today:

"You have to wonder how this happened to him," Lundergaard said.
"Was he calculating the transition amplitudes between the
unperturbed eigenstates due to the presence of the perturbation
in order to determine transition probabilities in time-dependent
quantum phenomena, and the next day, strapping a TV antenna to
his head?"

(noticed by Keith N. on vortex-L)

That was good. But if he were in Peoria, IL, would he ba as smart as
crazy Willy? Crazy Willy knows how to throw a brick through the
front window of the Fed bldg so he can ride out the winter in
federal psych lockup.

(noticed by Keith N. on vortex-L)
"It's hard for the layperson to differentiate schizophrenic ramblings
like 'Modernity chunk where the sink goes flying on the ping-pang'
from legitimate terminology like 'Unstable equilibria lie on the nodal
points of a separatrix in phase space.'" LMAO!

Why would we want to look at that?

It struck me that it had a number of points in common with Mr Plutonium.

Laugh.

It's funny.

Or perhaps it's a test for having a particular kind of twisted
sense of humor. Some fail the test.

It struck me that it had a number of points in common with Mr Plutonium.

Except that Pluto has no education in science. The lunacy however is right
on.
