I took this picture with the webcam at our local Marina.
I posted it on some photographers site somewhere and was accused of
using Photoshop. I don't use or know how to use Photoshop, it was a
stupid webcam photo.

Interesting single wire.

The ground wire is just out of view, below. Also you can see a connector
but no pole pig, same thing, it's just out of view. I guess it is unusual
that they put the hot line so high up. *Shrug*

Nice, calm waters too.

There is always somebody moaning, any Joe can do that,
waiting for their projects and pictures...

I do not even have photoshop, I have gimp,
but hardly ever use it.
Cutouts I do in Linux with xv.
There is also imagemagick in Linux to add text and modify images.
For movies I make, I use my own software to edit.
Not any joe can write that.
And I open source things, so anybody can use and modify the code.
Different from 'I am working on a top secret project so I cannot show you what I do,
but it it is much better than anything blah blah'.
In the mean time they are often actually grabbing open source, using it to compile, and
violating the GPL.
And then, because they use cut and paste without understanding, their projects never work right :)

So do not bother with those joes.
I do it for fun, not for the alms.

Well, that depends on what "do it" means.
By placing it on the Internet, you are competing with billions of
others. Consider it a baby review.

Wrong viewpoint.
Nobody is 'competing', only in your imagination.
What will be 'competing' is China, it will use the good stuff they find

But of course the term "competing" does not mean competing in an
official contest. When you upload a picture you want others to be
impressed by, you might consider the fact most of us have seen 1
billion other such pictures, many of them spectacular. And Yes they
do reside in our minds/imaginations.

I do not worship Donald Trump, so not-quite-grown-up attacks on his
person don't phase me, especially not from out of the blue...

So what.

In that USA anybody who opposes him is fake and futile
he even controls the NYtimes
they stopped with political cartoons after one did show him being led by a dog marked Nethan-yahoo or whatever.
Dictatorship.

In the future
could it be (like in Berlin in the past) Mr Xi and Mr Putin dividing the US in a Chinese and Russian part in the Washington conference?

It's a moth actually. When butterflies land they put their wings up
together like praying hands. Moths land with their wings spread flat
like that.

No, it's a butterfly. Butterflies often sit with their wings open
soaking up the sun. To be exact it's a painted lady:
