The aus.electronics $1000 bet. Fritz or Phil?
===================================================
Fritz:
My Claim # 1
Quote:
'I have had full projects published in ETI and AEM, plus several Circuit Notebook items in SC. I have also had circuits
published in Elektor and Electronic Design News'
Unquote
To which Phil responded: '** I reckon you are a stinking, fucking liar.'
Fritz:
Now, I mentioned a figure of AUD$1,000 as a bet for you to put up or shut up.
This amount could be arranged as credit with Dontronics (I like to support aussie business), and Don could verify the
info supporting my claim #1, which I can email him directly.
So, if I am wrong about claim #1, I will send the money to Don, with instructions for Phil Allison to buy what he wants
with it. But if Phil is wrong (and you are), Phil Allison must send the money to Don with instructions for me to buy
what I want from Dontronics.
Fair enough ?
So, put up or shut up.
==================
It would seem that the loser would have to spend the $1000 at Dontronics.
Sounds bloody good to me. What a bonza idea.
"Dontronics Betting Service" Roll Up, Roll Up, Roll Up.
Anyone else want to bet on anything?
In a previous life, I was with the TAB for 25 years so this could be another career re-launch for me. See:
http://www.dontronics.com/my_early_tote_years.html
(BTW Victorian TAB 50 Year Anniversary dinner at MVRC this Friday. No getting drunk Don.)
Seriously, I am quite happy to simply be a photo finish and bank, for the purpose of this bet, and pass the funds onto
the winner.
I have my own bet on the outcome of this one.
Anyone want to bet on it?
Cheers Don...
