Quote from above site:

" I offer all Buyers a refreshing and genuine "value" alternative to the
"mainstream" Test Equipment Dealers in Australia. You get honesty with
absolute integrity. I will not attempt to sell any item(s) of equipment
without a full and honest disclosure of it's attributes, known faults &
cosmetic condition.

My reputation is of utmost importance to me. "

I find it interesting that Don McKenzie posts one little note
advising people that he's selling stuff of interest to many here and
gets roasted alive, but this series of blatant advertisements doesn't
rate a mention, apart from Phil's.

Perhaps Google's recording 4870 hits on the electronics groups for
"Dontronics" has something to do with it.Thats a lotta little notes.
The testgear ad was a flash in the pan - Don has staying power.
cheers

But...
That's in Don's signature and e-mail address, so it's only a
reflection of how many postings he's made?! I don't mean to be picky.

Cheers

But,
I looked and it's almost all other people referring to his website
and stuff he sells. And "Dontronics" is in Don's signature file as
well...

cheers,
B

Fair do's. Don make occasional posts to this (and
other?) groups but no-way could that be called spam.
I seriously doubt he has made almost 5000 (or anything
like that number) advertising posts to usenet.

Yepp,
I've sent people Don's way on a number of occasions. There's always
people wanting to get into micros cheaply (particularly on
comp.arch.embedded), and Don's entry level stuff is pretty reasonable.
