if not, can anyone tell me which wire links the CRT to the mainboard
where cable is connected onto.

Except for the part about schematics and that answer is the obvious one,
Panasonic will be happy to sell the service manual.

Take the back off then you will see the PCB attached to the CRT base.
It is then very easy to look and see how its atttached with wires to the
main board.
