Tektronix 2000B series oscillosope - got a sleep mode?

Just wondering, does anyone know if you leave the scope on and there
is no trigger or activity for a while will it turn off? The reason I
ask is I want to set it up "just so" and leave it untouched - I don't
want to turn it on and off all the time and have to set it up again,
but then I don't want to burn the screen out leaving it on 24/7.

I have a 1000-series non-B, and it does not screen save. Perhaps the B
series does, but it would be a new development over their immediate
predecessor.

I would suggest trying it once while you go out to lunch and seeing what
happens.

It does save most or all of its settings through power off, though,
doesn't it?

Thanks for your reply. I did try just what you suggested - it does not
turn off or go into a sleep mode. However, it does remember the
previous settings after you switch it off - I was pressing the auto-
set button on start-up and it was not scaling things how I wanted.
Fortunately it is all good now I know not to do that.
