Technics cd player fixed.

Greetings Group.
Technics SL-P212 CD player.

CD player will play a lot of discs fine, but others just
spin at a high speed and will not play at all.

Sometimes the total time of the disc shows in the display,
but it will not play.

The owner seems to think the discs that play are American made,
and Australian made discs do not.

I have tried cleaning the laser.

Any suggestions.

Solution.
All I needed to do was adjust VR106 (TR/B).
The machine will now play all cd's.
