Hello,

Is there a replacement for VersionSync available, for doing Design
Management in DFII version IC6.1? I prefer a free-ware or low-cost
program, because where a small research lab.

Hi Jean,

Not from Cadence - we exited the design management space a few years ago, but
there are four connections partners that provide DM solutions that work with
Cadence IC tools. In alphabetical order:

ClioSoft - http://cliosoft.com - the product is SOS
Dassault Systemes - http://www.3ds.com/products/enovia - the product is Enovia
Synchronicity DesignSync
IC manage - http://icmanage.com
methodics http://www.methodics-eda.com/ - product is VersIC

I believe that ClioSoft have a free version for small numbers of users, but
maybe the others do too - I suggest contacting each of them. All have good
solutions.
