Teak tv model CT-M4895 how to store programs please.

I have obtained this second hand tv and I dont know how to set memory
so that on switch off and then on, the last channel being viewed is
back again.
The tv has the following buttons from left: "Mode" "PP" "STORE"
"CLEAR".
Example of the problem is: when setting say channel 9 to my desired
colour level and brightness etc. it looks okai but when I turn off
and on the tv goes to channel 1.

Jim you need to get hold of the remote control for this Tv.Tuning is done
from the remote control.

This TV always starts on channel 1.Engineering design.
For the Memory settings,try STORE-PP-STORE.
If no good you need a remote with the PP button.

I had a similar problem with a Samsung some time ago and asked for
help in the group.

I was told the following:-

"Most models Press store then pp on remote then store again."

I think this may work on some Teac too.

You press the "program" up or down button to change from one tv station to
another.

yes
it does
 
It will only start on channel 1 if the power is completley removed.If
powering up from standby it will start on the previous selected channel.

Program 1 or Channel 1, I think it would be program 1
