I have a Teac TV model CT-M217, I don't have any instructions for it.
If someone can help with instructions to blank out some of the
programmed in channels it would be helpful, also it has a problem
after it's been running for about an hour it's screen shrinks about 3
- 4cm on the top & bottom (just like widescreen format) any
suggestions how to fix this without sending to repair shop would be
great.

replace electro's in the vertical

I have a CTM147 where I had the same problem. I discovered that there was a
missing button in the tuning controls. It had its holes and tracks on the
PCB but no button or hole in the plastic case.
The missing button works similiar to the STORE button except that it says
CLEAR and erases programmed channels.
Maybe this is the case in your TV too.

I hope that's your real e-mail address. I'm sending the service
manual in .pdf form to you, through the Dropload file transfer
service. I hope it will give you the info you need.

Thanks for the manual Bob, I havent had time to read it yet but sure
it will be good.

John I will pull the tv apart and look on the board for the missing
switch.

Thank you

Good luck with it, Philip!
