I have a Teac CT-M340MKII TV which will switch on fine but after pressing
the channel buttons it switches it self back to standby and the way to turn
it on again is by switching it on and off at the master switch.
Has anybody seen this fault before or is a common thing for this model.
All help would be appreciated.

Mick

Normally, those have problems with power supply. I would change
electrolitics in the PS primary first, as they cause too many problems.

Apart from that it sound like you have EEPROM problem or some buttons on
front panel are leaky.
