TDA8844 from TEAC TV

Hi, all

I have this TEAC model EU68ST in need of TDA8844. There are "original" and
"non-original" variant of this IC. Price difference is about $50. Did anyone
try to use "non-original" in those chassis? (chassis 11AK19).

Rudolf, they used that jungle ic in a few of the philips sets as well.
WES Components has them for $24.95 each which would be cheaper than
Teac.They said they are originals but not sure if it is true.

I used non-original and it worked fine.

WES also has "original" for $35. TDA8844-S1
Speedy Spares (TEAC agents) priced original at $77
