I'm still looking for this IC. Anyone know where I can find it? The
ECG/NTE replacement, ECG792 is no longer available. Please reply to
newsgroup. TIA.

I used to service Sylvanias in the 70's. I remember that countdown circuit. I may have some info
on a fix for horizontal sync problems. Remember that was designed long before VCRs were ever dreamed
about for home use. I do have a 15-37701-1, which is the vertical processor.
Alas, Sylvania made a good set even after NAP took over.... now it is nothing but a Funi :( :(

This TV originally had no horizontal sync, but worked great otherwise. I made a sync separator circuit
and injected the horizontal sync into the horizontal oscillator section. The TV worked for about a week
and then I got no horizontal drive. I think I killed the oscillator section, so now I need another IC.
I'm hoping someone has one in his junkbox.

I found one in an old parts bin today at work.
Not sure if it's functional.
It's your if you want it.
