There is a slim chance I could find one, but I have no way to test it.

If it is a horizontal sync problem I had a fix for that. The newer chip, the
43301 (I think) I got a real good fix for no sync, the 37700 fix entails only a
capacitor, but it's not perfect. What happens is it takes the set can take up
to a minute to sync up when you turn it on cold, and usually a second or two
when you change channels.

It also doesn't handle the timebase errors of a VCR really well, especially in
effects mode (i.e. pause or search).

Post back if it's a sync problem, and don't even bother buying the ECG or any
other replacement, they don't work 99% of the time. Same is true about 50% of
the time with those little GE AB chassis' countdown chip, it's rare anything
will work other than an OEM part, at least in my experience.

The TV does not have vertical or horizontal sync. This is IC400, sync separator and
horizontal oscillator. The one in this set has a Motorola logo. This part number
appears to have been used in a number of Sylvania sets. I have also found this IC
mentioned in a Montgomery Wards set.

What is your capacitor fix for horizontal sync? TIA.
