We have some sunbeam humidifiers (models 699 adn 696). The nebulizers
(transducers) seem to have stopped functioning. All the parts suppliers
say that these parts are now obsolete.

Anyone know if there are substitute nebulizers that could be used - or
anyone who might be able to supply the original parts?

Thanks.

Are these ultrasonic units? New ones are so cheap it would be
impossible to find replacement parts that would save any money. Fact
of life on electronics theses days.

At least one manufacturer stopped making those a decade ago. There was
concerns that some tap water has trace amounts of asbestos in it; and
the ultrasonic units sis a great job of putting it into the air.

I kept mine for a parts cleaner!
