PM says 'vital' to strengthen intl cooperation against terror
With the recent spate of terror strikes weighing heavily on his mind,
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said it was "vital" to strengthen
international cooperation to combat terrorism and bring its
perpetrators, financiers and sponsors to justice.
Addressing the world leaders at the UN General Assembly , Dr Singh
noted India's desire to achieve its growth objectives while pursuing
ecologically sustainable development.
"India is registering rapid economic growth... our total demand will
keep increasing and we are actively looking for all possible sources
of clean energy," he said.
