SRAM: SKILL code and butterfly diagram

Hello,

Does anyone know an easy way to layout/schematic a large sram array.
Let's say with a size of at maybe 256*512. Can anyone please give me
some suggestion like where to find a code example for this or a
tutorial?

Moreover, when trying to generate the "butterfly diagram" for sram
read/write stability, anyone knows how do you put both curve on the
same graph, and where to break the circuit in order to make the graph?

Thank you for the help.

Hey Jack, I can answer your question about both curves on the same graph
- I think. I assume you are using Analog Environment.

# Under Results->Printing/Plotting Options
# Check the Overlay Plots checkbox

Hope this helps,
Ned

Hello,
Thanks for the help. However, I dont understand what does the overlay
option do. What I do in order to get a butterfly is, if not break the
sram schematic, I put a DC source in VL and look at VR to get one
curve. The other curve should be generated from put source in VR and
look at VL so the axis of the plot is VL vs VR. So, for example, is
there a way to generate VR vs VL from VL vs VR and put them both on VL
vs VR? or i can break the circuit and look at two inverters, but its
not really perfectly the same as the real sram.

I think what most people do is export the data and use another program
like Matlab to give you a nice figure. Matlab would allow you to mess
with the axes. I've never done that though.
