Spectre: cktrom

Guest
I'm trying to figure out how to get the "Circuit Reduced Order Model"
component (cktrom) to work. I may misunderstand the relationships
among the number of nodes and the A, B, C, and D matrices.

Can someone post a small circuit including a working example of cktrom?

I see that the only previous mention of 'cktrom' in this newsgroup is
an apparently unanswered question from 1999. I wonder whether that
means the component is not in widespread use.

Thanks,

I did some searching, and couldn't really find many references to it internally
in Cadence - nothing really in terms of customer service requests nor PCRs,
except a few saying that it wasn't supported in the corners tool via
altergroups, or in AMS Designer. But these weren't in response to anyone
actually using it, but instead just noting the limitations.

There is an example under "spectre -h cktrom", but I'm not sure how useful that
would be...

Andrew.
