spectre and ic5141

Please forgive me if this is a silly question but I would like to know
whether Spectre/Spectre S is included in IC5141 or do i need MMSIM62
as well in order to carry out simulations.

Any help is appreciated

spectre (the simulator) is included in IC5141 but is VERY old and is not really
maintained. You should really use an up to date MMSIM version (the current
version is MMSIM71 - the supported versions are MMSIM71 and MMSIM70).

The simulator interfaces in ADE (spectre/spectreS) are both in IC5141, although
spectreS is obsolete (and has been for many years) and so is end-of-lifed.
spectreS has been removed in releases after IC5141.
