--I'm trying to find a source for a few surplus analog joysticks,
but not the gaming variety. I'm looking for the ones that are generally
found in R/C transmitters. Any pointers appreciated!

An eBay search for "RC transmitter" will bring up a lot of units to select
from. I saw several with 2 two-axis sticks going cheap. Be careful though
- the carriage for the stick assembly may be part of the plastic case.
