source for zebra (elastomer) connectors

Does anyone know of a company offering standard
off-the-shelf zebra connectors in small quantities?

Getting something to spec would be prohibitive at the
quantities we're looking at for now (probably just a few
hundred pieces).

We are thinking of using these as a small interconnect for
4-8 contacts (perhaps ~1mm pitch) for small sensor boards
we're designing, but we won't need huge quantities.

Can a long strip or roll of zebra connectors be purchased
and then cut by hand to fit our boards?

I've seen stuff from Fujipoly and others, but how readily
available are they and do any distributors stock small
quantities?

Try the companies that do custom LCDs - they ought to be able to point you to sources.
