Anyone out there have a Sony TCM 929 tape recorder? It's a portable about 10x6x2",
$35. When I record, something inside the recorder goes tick, tick, tick each second.
I opened it up and can see the mechanism that makes the noise, but it's not obious
what is causing the noise. It's not very loud but it's loud enough that if I use the
built-in mic, it gets recorded.
