With reference to Sony Model KV-32TS35 (Chassis SCC-E65C-A). Unit blew
horizontal output Q502 (2SD1941) and power supply transistors Q601 and
Q602 (2SC4664 M) as well as fuse (2.5 A/250V) which is used in place
of the more common low ohm resistor in other Sony chassis. Customer
kept replacing fuse but it continually blew as would be expected.
Replaced these components and unit blew Q601, Q602 and fuse in standby
operation. Horizontal out is still good. This unit does not have the
usual VDRs which I was used to seeing. What may be blowing this unit
in standby? Thanks.
