My 6 year old KV-32S35 recently lost its sharpness/detail. Picture looks
sort of washed out. I can still adjust the brightness and contrast up and
down but it only makes the picture worse. I have tried adjusting the
contrast/sharpness/brightness/gamma/chroma settings in the service menu and
only get a somewhat better detailed picture at the expense of a darker
picture that is basically unwatchable..
My question is does this tv have a potential of being fixed as it had a very
sharp/crisp great picture a few months ago or is the picture tube shot and
I should just save the money for the repair attempt towards a new TV. This
tv fits tightly (though nicely) inside a cabinet, I really can't find
another 32 incher to fit so fixing this tv if it's worth it is of great
value to me.
