Sony KV 29X2B (tv chassis AE3) problem

How about some information as to the problem. Way too little detail.

No other info...

Just that I have immediately the sound, but I have to wait 1 hour to see an
image.
On the B3 chassis I checked L304 & L305, it seems to be ok. The tube is on
immediately, but without image or osd for the menus.

It seems to work better with G2 higher...

AKB, Vertical, Horizontal return pulse, Clock and data all ok from Jungle
ic.

I would bet that the picture tube is simply weak from age and the AKB
circuit cannot compensate, very common on older Sony sets, 4 to 11 years
old.

If you slightly turn up the G2 voltage to the tube, after marking its
exact
position before moving it, and the picture suddenly pops back on, you can
about bet the picture tube is the fault and the fix is to replace the
tube.
